POSITION TITLE: Multimedia Marketing Specialist
DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION: Business or Communications Majors; Earn college credit and learn about social media, marketing, internet, video production.Selected qualified applicant(s) will be managing a multimedia marketing campaign for national technology firm and television series with offices located in Lexington, KY. Candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of a national marketing campaign including but not limited to grassroots, internet, one-on-one networking and phone. Creativity and an independent working nature are important.
HOURS: Flexible hours during the week and weekends. A minimum of 10 hours per week and a maximum of 18 hours per week. Student needs to complete their academic department’s specific hour requirements per each credit earned if doing work for academic credit. This is an open internship opportunity for Spring, Fall and Summer sessions.
REQUIREMENTS: Determined, aggressive, organized, punctual and most importantly creative! Undergraduate junior or seniors as well as graduate level students may apply. Excellent writing and communication skills as well as knowledge of computer applications such as Windows Office. Relevant courses: Television Production, Graphic Design, Radio, Communications, Theater, Film, etc. Some editing and/or camera experience is preferred. This will be a highly competitive position and a formal interview will be required.
COMPENSATION: Academic Credit. Monetary payment terms may be discussed with applicant on a case by case basis.
